Antiques Fair at the Chapel

The Masterworks Chorus of the Palm Beaches will hold an ANTIQUES APPRAISAL FAIR: UNVEILING YOUR TREASURES on February 18, 2007 at The Royal Poinciana Chapel, 60 Cocoanut Row, in Palm Beach for the benefit of the chorus which has brought the joy of choral music to this community since 1979. The public is invited to participate in the event. The cost is $20 for admission and one appraisal and $10 for admission only. Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling 845-9696. To have an item appraised, place your reservation soon as there will be limited space.

Antiques and Collectibles will be identified and discussed with evaluations on many of the objects d’art on a one to one interview basis sharing this information with the audience in attendance. Appraiser, Vivian A. Highberg, who has appraised nationally throughout the United States, will conduct this event. Ms. Highberg has been an appraiser for almost 20 years and is a consultant, antiques expert, lecturer, educator, liquidator, and broker in the antiques world having appeared weekly on the local CBS news in the Pittsburgh market, on South Florida Today, and as an appraiser on the Antiques Road Show for several seasons.

Founded by the enthusiastic, talented, and dynamic Dr. Jack W. Jones, the Masterworks Chorus of the Palm Beaches has performed throughout south Florida as well as with the Palm Beach Opera, Ballet Florida, at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and several European concert tours. The proceeds from this appraisal event will be used for music purchases, performing with full orchestra, hall rental, and such expenses as to promote quality performances of choral music in a live venue.
