AUDITIONS!

The Masterworks Chorus of the Palm Beaches will be holding auditions for new members on September 4, 2007 at Vera Lee Rinker Hall on the campus of Palm Beach Atlantic University. Those who wish to audition are asked to come at 7:00 pm with a solo piece that they would like to sing. All applicants will also be asked to sight-read. Auditions are open to professional and amateur singers of all types and voice parts. Professional training is not required.

Here it is! The 2007|2008 Season!

The Masterworks Chorus of the Palm Beaches will open their season on November 18, 2007 at 4:00 pm at the Bethesda-By-The-Sea Church in Palm Beach with a concert entitled "FAMOUS ALLEUIAS AND HALLELUJAS!" which will feature the music of Bach, Beethoven, Franck, Handel, Haydn, Lewandowski, Mozart, Thompson, and others.

The overwhelmingly popular MESSIAH by George Frederic Handel follows on December 18, 2007 at 5:00 pm. This holiday favorite will be presented at The Royal Poinciana Chapel at 60 Cocoanut Row on Palm Beach. Soloists feature Marie Ashley, Soprano, Kristin Brouwer, Mezzo Soprano, Bryon Grohman, Tenor, and Gordan Longhofer, Bass.

Rounding out the season is “AN EVENING OF GILBERT & SULLIVAN” on March 26, 2008 at 8:00 pm presented at Rinker Playhouse at The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. The program will feature arias, duets, and choruses from Pirates of Penzance, H.M.S. Pinafore, Gondoliers, Mikado, and others. The soloists are Judy Davis, Soprano, Sonia Santiago, Mezzo Soprano, Bill Wynn, Tenor, and Bill Stafford, Baritone.

Tickets for all performances are $20 each and can be purchased by calling the "Chorus Line" at 561.845.9696 or at the door. Season subscriptions are available for $50 each.
